Three years ago God called Elizabeth and I to serve him in missions around the globe.  Our friends and acquaintances could not understand why we risked everything to obey the Master's voice.   In my case some people became skeptical as they began to wonder why a graduate professional engineer with a graduate degree in Business Administration left a secular job after reaching its helm.  Those who knew and admired me when I was a Director & a Member of the Board in a large global South African Corporation may have secretly thought that I had lost my mind.  In their view God cannot or should not demand someone of my caliber to yield to His call with unconditional surrender.  What is the logic of getting educated in very rare fields of study like engineering and business administration only to turn one's back on the comfort zone of secular employment to be a nomadic missionary devoted to the rapid expansion of the kingdom of God among nations?  I must confess that we do not have all the answers to your questions as God did not give us any explanations.   All that we did was only to take risky steps of obedience in line with God's bidding.  Maybe the following prophetic word may just in a small way begin to shed light on our "crazy" steps of obedience and make our act of obedience meaningful to others.  The following prophecy was posted by Ricardo Butler on face-book almost 3 years after my wife Elizabeth and I, Eliyah Khumalo responded with total obedience to the new thing that God is doing among the nations of our world.  We decided to be part of the team that God was putting together to be His co-workers to do the new thing.  As a family we found in these words an independent but accurate confirmation on the repositioning of our family in terms of the  "new thing" that God is doing in world missions today.  In addition, we hope that the content of this web site will continue to offer you illumination on why God does what He does without explaining Himself to any one.  In the end the guiney pigs of obedience experience the vindication of God in a way that leaves the tongues of the skeptics hanging dry in wonder.

Changes In Missionary Outreach

I saw the globe of the earth, as if I were up in space looking down upon the earth. And as I watched, I saw movements taking place. I saw men and women being moved from their country of origin to another country.

At first I thought that this represented missionaries leaving for a foreign land. But as I watched, I saw them remaining in the foreign land for only a short season. Then they returned to their homeland, and intense activity began to take place on their return.

I saw many people being gathered together around them, and some of these in turn being sent off like the first. They would go for a short season of training, and then return to their homeland to introduce the new concepts that they had learned.

The era of foreign missions, which was a pattern of the old system, will begin to fade away. It will be replaced by a more efficient method of reaching the nations. God will raise up workers in each nation and people and train them to return to their birthplace. There they will reach the people that they know and understand. And they will present the Word to them in a way that they will readily accept.

There will come a desire in the hearts of many who have emigrated to other countries, to return to the country of their birth. There they will fit in with the people and introduce the principles that they have learned. This will be true missionary work as God intended it to be.

No longer will foreigners risk their lives to bring the gospel to the heathen. No longer will women and children have to suffer because of the call. Instead the Lord will pull people from their cultures and archetypes, and train them to break free of these. Then He will send them back to their own people to teach them the truth.
